About the Job
Global Left is a new international initiative bringing together left and centre-left political forces worldwide. The organisation operates as a platform for cooperation, policy coordination, and political dialogue among progressive actors committed to democracy, equality, human rights, and social justice. Global Left connects parliamentarians, political parties, and progressive organisations across regions in order to strengthen democratic cooperation and develop coordinated political responses to global challenges.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for our Partnerships, Membership & Political Outreach Team.
Responsibilities
Members of this team:
Recruit parliamentarians, political parties, and institutional partners
Build relationships with progressive political actors internationally
Support the development of national delegations within the Global Left network
Coordinate political engagement activities, meetings, and outreach efforts
Expand and maintain the organisation’s membership base
Develop partnerships with political organisations, foundations, and civic networks
Requirements
Candidates demonstrate:
Academic background relevant to politics, international relations, public policy, economics, sociology, or law or
Experience with political parties, parliaments, campaigns, social movements, or advocacy organisations
Additional qualities:
Strong networking and communication skills
Interest in international progressive political cooperation
Ability to work in an international and remote team
